Why Swatch?
I guess it's because Swatch has become a creative getaway for me. I have a rather stressful job. Swatch helps me to focus on something different and fun. I get up in the morning and get dressed and look at my collection of Swatch and just take a fun moment deciding which one to wear. I guess I am not a true "collector" because I will wear all my Swatches. instead of just keeping them under lock and key. So then I'm off to work and what a drag. The day can feel very long but when I come home I take off my Swatch and place it back with the others in my collection and there they are, just as I left them in the morning, ticking, ticking and reminding me that time keeps flowing and my stress or anxiety is meaningless. Tick, tick, relax. Tick, tick, tomorrow, the world will still be there and if it is not, it won't matter anyway. Tick, tick, enjoy this moment.
