Cleaning House

I remember the frenzy when we first bought all of these wonderful swatches...now (many years later) it is time to set them free.  While cleaning house I found 9 well-loved swatches - what shall we do with them?  Shall I take them to the watch maker and post them on ebay?  Boy the new ones are even more beautiful than the old ones!

 Thanks - Pam

St. Germain

I have been looking at my St. Germain Swatch for nearly ten years now and I'm beginning to wonder what it means. What did Swatch mean naming it St. Germain? Sure, I know what the watch means to ME, but for the first time, I'm wondering what the designer of the watch was referring to.

There are a number of saints with the name Germain and many of them are French. Considering the words on the face are French, I thought there must be some connection there.

Then there is the lengendary Count of St. Germain, who is rumored to be immortal (or maybe even a vampire). He is represented quite often in literature, including a French television program called "Le Collectionneur des cerveaux" or the "Collector of Minds."

Anyone out there who can direct me to what Swatch was talking about when they designed the St. Germain watch?

 Laura

Replacing battery

I have had a Sydney Olympic Games 2000 watch, but lost track of the Battery Model, it seem that, the original Battery was from Sony, but already lost the original one, could anyone help to identify the battery model, or any other subistute model number for me to get it run again? Thanks and regards
