SWATCH related stories of mine(w/pics to see watches)
my love and collecting of SWATCH goes way back...i think my "DONT BE TOO LATE" was one of the 1st(i got it back in H.S. probably around 1983) and to this day it's still in near mint condition. my g/f at the time wanted to steal it but i said "no way baby".
ive had soo many more watches than i have now because a lot got destroyed from skating..i refused to take them off and they paid the price..sadly quite a few were rare/prized watches(i.e. BREAKDANCE,etc.)and wish i still had them.
the 2 Keith Harings that i managed to hang onto are also in very good condition( a little yellowing on the clear strap)...i had the other 2 in that collection but sold them both for $500 back in 1990(it seemed like good money back then)..oh well..live and learn+ i needed the cash.
that original "jelly" is another oldie..they re-released that one quite a few times over the years but this was one from the 1st batch.
i'll add more to this pointless story later on as the urge to write hits me.
